In Airedale, UK, she conducted a research project on childhood urinary tract infection. The aim of the project was to find out appropriate radiological investigations following first culture positive urinary tract infection in children less than 5 years.
She presented the research findings on childhood UTI in the Airedale Research Conference, Northern Regional Callman Training Day and Yorkshire Paediatric Society meeting.
She reviewed and revised the local protocols for all neonatal procedures in Airedale General Hospital. She also conducted a survey of service user's views of a children's epilepsy service in the Middlesbrough region. She presented the findings in the 2007 summer meeting of the regional Paediatric Epilepsy Organisation.
